UCG Completes FTTB Network at Brentwood Village - 27/03/2009

Universal Communications Group has completed a state of the art, FTTB network to service the residents of Brentwood Village, retirement community.

A key deliverable for Brentwood Village was the delivery of their immediate requirements, being the upgrade of their MATV Network to deliver the full Free To Air digital television services available today, as well as catering for their future communications requirements and additional value-add services.

UCG worked with Brentwood management to design and deliver a solution that was both robust, cost effective with regards to maintenance and ongoing running costs. A Fibre to the Building (FTTB) network solution was decided upon as it delivered all of their key current and future communications requiremnts.  The network is now providing all FTA digital servives in both High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) as well the full complement of Selectv pay-tv programs to the Brentwood Village residents. It is also designed to deliver fast broadband, telephony, media services as well as security and medical/nurse call services if required.
